Armchair in Franquemont.
I’ve been obsessed with @franquemont.london textiles, especially their Floral ZigZag fabric which I’m using for the armchair transformation. Their beautiful textiles have been on my radar for some time, and I finally got the chance to incorporate them into my work
One of the chairs was in worse shape than I anticipated, completely falling apart once the old upholstery was removed. Rebuilding it was a challenge, but it gave me an exciting opportunity to do something unique with the frame. I took inspiration from the Floral ZigZag fabric and painstakingly transferred the pattern onto the frame. This was by far the most time-consuming part of the process, taking days of meticulous work to prepare both frames for the upholstery.
The end result? A stunning pair of armchairs that blend vintage charm with a modern twist, showcasing the intricate pattern from @franquemont.london The effort and time invested were truly worth it, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Excited to share this furniture transformation journey with you all, bringing another creative project to life! Flat white braid from @samuelandsons
